Monday Series: A Story About Moving
Moving is exhausting. I've actually managed to carve out time to go through much of the stuff I've accumulated over the last 3 years and get rid of things I don't need, which has made me feel a lot more organized—but it's also made me really tired. This process has been ongoing since the week of March 15th when we had to get utilities set up/let contractors into the new space/prep for key retrieval etc. It's been one thing or another every week since then—longest moving process of my life. The benefit of being able to move a few things in here and there over the last few weeks does not make up for the fact that I've had to do some kind of small task for an hour or two each day for this whole extended period of time. The remainder of my stuff moves in on Friday. I have some packing to do to prepare for that. I will be very, very glad when this process is over and I get to relax.
That said, I carved out some time last week to work on a plan for the stationery business idea! I was tired of saying "I'll start it when..." So I just started it. I think I'm going to begin by creating a pattern/design collection with a "Witches" theme. Hopefully I can find some time to begin brainstorming that this week.
Ha.
Ha.
Ha.
If not, I'll do it next week.
In the meantime, if you're looking for me, I'll be packing 3000 mugs. Why do I have so many mugs? Note to self: do not sell mugs on this website. People don't need any more fucking mugs.
