While driving home from a weekend away, I experienced one of those strange optical illusions in which the speed of the car offset the speed of a man approaching a church in such a way that his head was perfectly concealed behind a lamppost for the length of time that he was in view. For weeks afterward, I couldn't shake the mental image of a dude with a lamphead approaching an old, creepy church. Here he is. Now he's your problem.
